I chose to become a celebrant as it gives me such joy to be part of such a significant milestone in people’s lives.
I truly believe in the importance of human connection and all the happiness and wonder that it creates. I feel very privileged to play my part in helping to make your ceremony as special and as memorable as possible.
I embrace and celebrate peoples’ uniqueness and what makes them authentically themselves. I believe in the true value of equality and support everyone’s right to joy, no matter what their gender, race, sexuality or identity is. With lived experience of neurodiversity, I also very much support offering a service that is tailored to everyone’s individual needs, with empathy and most importantly, without judgement.
What I want more than anything, is to help make each of you feel special, and make your ceremony truly personal and distinctive.

We start with an introductory meeting either online or face to face, to discuss your ideas.

We can then meet again to discuss in more detail and communicate as much as is needed for me to truly get to know you as a couple.

This is where it gets fun! Now I have got to know you more, I will begin crafting your personalised wedding ceremony script, making it unique and authentically yours.

I will arrive at your chosen venue in advance of your ceremony to ensure all is ready for your big moment.

What is a Celebrant?
An Independent Celebrant offers you the freedom to have your ceremony bespoke and personalised to you. I am not tied to any specific scripts or rituals and so can make it uniquely yours, adding that extra special element to your ceremony.

Is the ceremony legally binding?
In short - no. In the UK, a celebrant led ceremony isn't legal by itself just yet.
I generally recommend that you register your marriage legally at the registry office a week or two before the wedding. That way, there are no rules, restrictions or pre-written scripts and you can have the exact ceremony you want on your wedding day.
If you need help with the legal side of things, I offer help and support to all of my couples along the way.

How much does it cost?
I offer a full wedding ceremony package from £795. This includes my full support from the beginning till the ceremony ends, a full personalised wedding ceremony script, support with your personal vows, music and reading choices, and the option to include a range of symbolic elements.

Where are you based?
I am based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, and cover Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, London and beyond. Travel further than 30 miles from Aylesbury will be charged at 50p per mile, to cover travel expenses. ​

Do you perform LGBTQ+ ceremonies?
Absolutely. It saddens me that this question even needs to be asked in this day and age - people are people, love is love! I will happily perform ceremonies for all couples from all walks of life, regardless of gender, sexuality, identity, race or religion.

Where can we get married?
This is the joy of having a celebrant led ceremony - your wedding can be anywhere! You can be as creative as you like - indoors or outdoors; on a rooftop or in an old converted barn; or even in a beautiful woodland or garden. With registrar led ceremonies, they must take place in licensed venues. However, with a celebrant led ceremony, they can happen wherever you choose - and most importantly, in a venue to suit you as a couple.​

Can we include symbolic rituals in our ceremony?
You sure can. I would love to discuss with you the various options we can include to make your ceremony even more special and unique to you. There are many options, which can include ideas such as handfasting or ring warming, or we can even create our own that is entirely unique to you both. ​
